Marpool Primary School

Believe, Achieve, Succeed

Uniform

We are proud of our school and our uniform. We request that parents help us to maintain our high standards in appearance.  If at any time your child is unable to wear uniform to school we must be informed of the reason.

** We have relaxed the rules about footwear for now, as we acknowledge that it can be tricky to buy shoes whilst the shops are closed.**

Keep track of your child's property by ordering some labels.                                              Why not try out My Nametags and use code 25170 when you check out to raise money for Marpool for free!

Suppliers

Uniform with the logo on can be bought from ShipShape and Proserve in Exmouth or Thomas Moore in Exeter.

PE Kits

Currently, we are asking children to not bring in any PE kits. The information below is for future guidance.

For indoor PE, girls and boys will need a black logo T-shirt and black shorts. In line with LEA expectations, it is our policy that pupils work barefoot during indoor gymnastics/movement lessons.  For outdoor PE, please come with trainers or plimsolls.

PE kits are to be left in school, ready for their lessons.

Ready for all seasons!

It is important that your child has appropriate outdoor clothing to suit the seasons and our changeable climate.

When coming to school and enjoying playtimes during winter, children need warm, waterproof coats, hats, scarves and gloves.

Summer brings dangers associated with the damage the sun can do to health: sunhats, protective sunglasses and sunscreen to protect skin are necessary to keep pupils safe outdoors.

Jewellery

For safety reasons, children are not allowed to wear jewellery of any kind other than small ear studs. Any jewellery worn to school, as well as watches, must be taken off at the request of staff and the safety of personal possessions remains the responsibility of the pupil.
